These Terms govern purchases from Dusky’s Shrine. By using the store or placing an order, you agree to them.
Products and availability
Products, editions, covers and availability may change. Pre-book items are clearly identified and are paid for when ordered. We email the customer to confirm that pre-booking has been initiated and again when the item is ready to ship.
Prices, taxes and payment
- Prices are in Indian Rupees (₹). No tax is added to any product.
- Orders must be prepaid using an online payment method offered at checkout. Cash on Delivery is not available.
- A coupon-code field is available during checkout. Only one coupon code may be entered per order.
Current order offers
- Free delivery on eligible orders with an item subtotal of ₹999 or more. A fixed ₹75 delivery charge applies below ₹999.
- Extra 10% order discount at an eligible item subtotal of ₹1,499 or more.
- Extra 20% order discount at an eligible item subtotal of ₹2,499 or more. The 10% and 20% order discounts do not stack; the higher qualifying discount applies.
- Private 20% coupon codes, when issued directly to a customer, cannot be combined with author, publication, product or other order discounts. They may still receive free delivery when the eligible item subtotal is ₹999 or more.
Offers may be subject to checkout validation, eligibility and availability. The amount shown in checkout is final before payment.
Orders
An order is accepted after successful payment and confirmation. We may cancel an order because of unavailability, incorrect product or pricing information, suspected fraud, or another legitimate reason. If a paid order is cancelled, the applicable amount will be returned to the original payment method.
Delivery
Estimated delivery is 5–7 business days for metro and city locations, within 14 business days for remote or outlying areas, and 15–90 days for pre-book items. Courier disruption, weather, regional restrictions, force majeure and incorrect address details may affect estimates. See our Shipping Policy.
Replacement and refund requests
Standard requests must be filed within 24 hours after the order is marked delivered using our request form. Eligible cases are normally resolved by replacement. Refunds are used only in rare unforeseen situations, when replacement is unavailable or impracticable, or when required by law. See our Return, Refund & Exchange Policy.
Customer accounts
On Shopify Basic, customers may select Continue with Google or use Shopify’s secure passwordless email sign-in fallback. Both methods access the same hosted Shopify customer account. Shopify stores profile information, saved addresses and order history so customers can review past orders and check out more quickly. Customers remain responsible for protecting access to their Google account and email inbox.
Acceptable use and intellectual property
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, upload harmful code, or copy or exploit store content without permission. Store branding and original site content are protected; book titles, covers and marks belong to their respective rights holders.
Consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian consumer law.
