He died on 17th January 2010 in London. He is best known for his novel Love Story which was an international bestseller and writing the hit motion picture of the same name. The movie was nominated for 7 Academy Awards and he won a Golden Globe for his screenplay. Oliver’s story is the sequel to Love Story.
