भगवान विष्णु त्रिदेवों में से एक हैं। वे अखिल विश्‍व से कष्टों का नाश करने वाले, बलशाली एवं तीनों लोकों को प्रकाशित करने वाले हैं। वे वैकुंठ एवं क्षीर सागर में निवास करने वाले श्री के स्वामी हैं। जब-जब पृथ्वी पर धर्म की हानि होती है तब-तब भगवान विष्णु अवतार लेते हैं। विष्णु चालीसा में भगवान विष्णु की सुंदर स्तुति की गई है जिसका पाठ करने से सुख-सौभाग्य में वृद्धि होती है। भगवान विष्णु की कृपा से सिद्धि-बुद्धि, धन-बल एवं ज्ञान विवेक की प्राप्ति होती है।Lord Vishnu is one of the Trinity of Gods. He is the destroyer of all the sufferings in the Universe, powerful, and the illuminator of all three realms. He resides in Vaikuntha and the Kshir Sagar as the Lord of Sri. Whenever there is a decline in righteousness on Earth, Vishnu incarnates to restore it.Vishnu Chalisa contains a beautiful hymn praising Lord Vishnu in one couplet and forty verses.
