Description
Description
The Turn of the Screw is an 1898 horror novella by Henry James. An unnamed governess is hired to be the caretaker of a man’s young nephew, Miles, and niece, Flora, after the unfortunate deaths of their parents. Absorbed in his own affairs, the uncle grants the governess full authority over the caretaking of the children at his country estate named Bly. But Bly Manor has its own secrets, and the governess begins to see what she believes to be supernatural beings. The line between sanity and insanity blur with each passing day. The Turn of the Screw has inspired many notable works of horror and psychological thrillers since its publication & this classic horror tale is now a hit hollywood movie called "The Turning" starring Finn Wolfhard. The Turn of the Screw remains one of Henry James’s most well-known tales.
